Give participants a better understanding of the Code of Fundraising Practice, how it is enforced by the Regulator, and steps you can take to avoid getting into trouble.
- Description
This fun interactive presentation is designed to put the attendees into the shoes of the Fundraising Regulator.
The session will start with a short explanation of the Code of Fundraising Practice, how charities should deal with fundraising complaints, and how the Regulator deals with them.
The attendees will then be presented with a series of fundraising complaints based on real-life examples and asked to decide whether they have breached the code of Fundraising Practice. A fake charity will be used in all the examples.
Participants will leave the session with a better understanding of the Code of Fundraising Practice, how it is enforced and how their charities can avoid getting into trouble with the Regulator.
