Through listening to thoughts on the voluntary sector from Rt Hon Gordon Brown, participants will have a chance to reflect on the sector's wider role, and their organisation's place within it
- Description
Throughout his career, former Prime Minister Gordon Brown has made and influenced economic decisions with people at their heart. His compassion for communities and his understanding of financial reality make him a strong ally for the voluntary sector. During the cost of living crisis, he used his national voice to speak out about the invaluable role of charities, and the financial difficulties they are facing. He has also been instrumental in developing the Multibank model to redistribute surplus essential goods to families in need, giving him a unique perspective on the role of voluntary organisations across Scotland.
Please note: Places are limited to 2 people per organisation. For security reasons, all delegates must be associated with an organisation upon registering.
