- Description
Drumchapel is an area in the North West of Glasgow where Business in the Community (BITC) are in the early stages of connecting businesses, local government and community organisations.
Using insights and learning from BITC’s Pride of Place programme in areas of England and Wales the programme aims to unite people from all walks of life around a vision for a better future, nurturing collaboration, sustained investment and self-belief to drive action.
BITC’s work in Glasgow has led to support from Greggs, Sodexo and the Wheatley Group for local organisations to address food insecurity. Since then, even more have come onboard to work alongside the community groups.
Join us to find out more about their approach, plans, challenges and successes.
