- Overall aim
Right There work with people across the lifespan providing the right support at the right time to prevent family breakdown and ensure that everyone has a safe and supportive place to call home.
We will spotlight Common Ground - A Contextual Safeguarding pilot brought together by Barnardo's, Aberlour, Action for Children, Right There and the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit, to address extra-familial harm in Glasgow City Centre.
- Description
Right There are here for children and adults who are living with the effects of poverty, addiction, or relationship breakdown. Walking alongside people at home and in the community, we provide tailored support and form trusting relationships to help people feel happier, safer, and more confident to live their lives.
Rooted in communities for almost 200 years, we’re there for people going through tough times. To achieve this we work collaboratively across Scotland, offering a broad range of tailored supports; intensive family support, kinship support, mentoring, counselling, supported accommodation, housing outreach and short term housing. We are continuously adapting and innovating to meet the changing needs of children and adults we support.
