- Description
This talk is aimed at third sector organisations looking to develop nationwide partnerships to increase their community reach and social impact.
Do you wish you could hear practical insights about a project set up by another charity in your area of expertise? Do you feel your organisation could benefit from teaming up with other actors operating in another part of the country?
In the post-Covid era charities, trusts and foundations of football clubs are leading the way in engaging with vulnerable groups, advocating for social change and providing lasting support to local communities.
The T.E.A.M project originated in Edinburgh with a simple idea: harnessing the power of football to support disadvantaged young people. The initiative quickly developed across 5 football grounds in Scotland, improving outcomes around mental health, poverty, social inclusion, whilst receiving outstanding backing by the UEFA Foundation (Union of European Football Associations). Today, T.E.A.M continues to change thousands of lives across the country every year.
In this session, the partners are coming together to reflect on their journey, share social and physical outcomes for their respective communities, and illustrate best practice across fundraising, leadership, innovation and service delivery. Expect some honest feedback, practical examples and real case studies beyond the world of football.
The afternoon will offer opportunities for the audience to engage with our panel, contribute to the discussion and ask questions.
