- Description
Engagement with formal volunteering shows signs of recovery, but an inclusive participation gap is widening. Join Volunteer Scotland and SCVO for a round table event designed to influence how and where investment in volunteering is directed and what support is needed for those who support volunteers. As part of its new five-year strategy, Volunteer Scotland has published a Volunteer Action Plan Refocus Plan that sets out actions for increasing participation in volunteering. This round table is one of a series aimed at gathering insights from across the sector. The outcome will be a series of co-created actions that strengthen national partnerships, boost volunteer participation, and enhance inclusion, by investing in programmes that introduce more people to volunteering. Your input will also help shape the development of Volunteer Scotland's under development Knowledge Gateway, a resource to support volunteer-involving organisations across Scotland.
