Overall aim

This session aims to provide organisations with examples and knowledge on how they can provide increased in-work security to their teams. We will be exploring the benefits of adopting Living Wage and Living Hours within your organisation, with space to discuss common barriers and hear real-world solutions that work.

By attending, you will learn about tangible actions that you can take to improve staff wellbeing, enhance retention and help to be part of building a more sustainable and resilient voluntary sector.

Description

Join us to delve into the vital role of employers in tackling poverty in Scotland, and discuss the scale of low pay and insecure work in the voluntary sector.

Participants will learn more on the benefits and process of Living Wage, Living Hours and Living Pension accreditation schemes. Hear first-hand from our engaging panel of voluntary sector employers who have successfully implemented these organisational changes. The session will allow you to gain practical insights you can apply and share your own experiences and ideas into the conversation.

Speakers will each deliver a short input before opening to a panel discussion with Q&A. We will include facilitated networking to encourage conversation and connection for all participants.
