We are Scotland's largest national digital advice service, providing free, practical, and impartial advice to anyone in Scotland on a range of issues, including debt, energy, benefits, and consumer rights. We partner with the Scottish Government to administer over £10 million per year in grant funding to vulnerable households and engage with more than 1,000,000 people each year across our services. Multi-channel support is available by freephone, web chat, email, and through social media, with our individual websites housing Knowledge Centres that provide guidance on the most common issues and concerns.
Our services:
advice.scot - providing a range of advice, including employment, housing, and benefits. The service includes a free benefits checker which incorporates Scotland’s devolved benefits to allow people to check their entitlement.
consumeradvice.scot - providing free advice on consumer issues including scams, holidays, travel, deliveries, insurance, and refunds.
moneyadvice.scot - providing free, impartial and practical debt advice, including a full range of both formal and informal debt solutions. Authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
energyadvice.scot - providing free, practical advice and information on energy-related matters, including billing and meters, complaints and disputes, grants, loss of energy supply, and switching suppliers.
