Fife Gingerbread is a grassroots charity dedicated to creating better todays and brighter tomorrows for lone parents and families in need across Fife. As the only charitable voluntary sector organisation in Fife with a primary focus on lone parent families, we provide accessible, approachable and non-judgemental support tailored to the needs of each family.

Based in Glenrothes and operating across Fife, we deliver holistic support through a range of projects designed to help families overcome challenges such as low income, isolation, trauma and poor mental health. Our staff and volunteers work alongside parents at a pace that is right for them, empowering them to build confidence, resilience and brighter futures for themselves and their children.

Everything we do is grounded in tackling child poverty and supporting families to flourish. Alongside direct support, we are committed to developing innovative, scalable solutions that address the causes and impacts of poverty across Scotland. We also amplify parents’ voices, ensuring their experiences help shape services, influence policy and create lasting change. Through compassion, partnership and practical support, Fife Gingerbread helps families overcome barriers, strengthen their wellbeing and achieve positive, sustainable outcomes.
