Historic Environment Scotland is the lead public body established to investigate, care for and promote Scotland’s historic environment. For us the Gathering is an exciting opportunity to share our Heritage for All vision and to talk to representatives from across the third sector about how the historic environment can make a real difference to communities. We are keen to engage with organisations who can help people understand what aspects of heritage are important to people in the places they live, work and visit and to develop ideas to care for and protect these now and in the future. We can explain the various funding opportunities available for projects which include a heritage element and how to go about developing your ideas.
