Inclusion Scotland is a Disabled People’s Organisation (DPO) working to achieve positive changes to policy and practice so that disabled people are fully included throughout all Scottish society as equal citizens. At The Gathering, we’ll be sharing 'A Movement Still In Motion', our film exploring the history of the Disabled People’s Movement and the ongoing fight for equality, rights and independent living. You can also find out more about two of our programmes creating opportunities for disabled people across Scotland. Our Access to Elected Office Fund supports disabled people seeking selection or election to political office by helping to remove disability-related barriers to participation. Our Internship Programme creates paid, accessible internship opportunities for disabled people, supporting them to gain valuable workplace experience, develop their skills and progress in their careers.
