Paths for All is Scotland’s national walking charity and the champion of everyday walking for a happier, healthier and greener Scotland. Our aim is to support people in Scotland to be active every day. Walking is the easiest and most accessible way to do this. We create inclusive opportunities for everyone to walk and wheel, connecting communities and improving physical, mental and social health.
Through the Scottish Health Walk Network (SHWN), Paths for All brings together over 300 organizations committed to supporting the delivery of Health Walks across Scotland. Health Walks are free, safe and low-level walks lasting 30-60 minutes and led by a trained Health Walk Leader. Over 800 walks are offered in local communities across Scotland, welcoming those who are older, recovering from ill health, living with long-term health conditions or simply looking to get active by walking or wheeling more.
This year, Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland and Fountainbridge Canalside Community Trust, as members of the SHWN, will host a free 30-minute Health Walk each day at 12.50pm, assisted by Paths for All staff. If you'd like to join the walk on Tuesday or Wednesday, please book onto the respective event and assemble by the table near the cloakroom in the Strathblane Hall.
