SACC is a member-led intermediary organisation for alcohol support charities across Scotland. We champion alcohol counselling as a unique, crucial and long-established type of support for people experiencing alcohol use issues and their loved ones.

Our work strengthens alcohol counselling nationally by providing access to specialist training, supporting high standards in counselling practice and advocating for the importance of alcohol counselling in national decision-making.

We are proud to carry on the legacy of Councils on Alcohol which started as a grassroots movement in the 1960s in Scotland.
