Craighalbert is a Scottish charity and Grant Aided Special School supporting children and young people with complex or emerging health, care, communication and learning needs from birth to 19 years.

We work with families across Scotland to provide specialist learning, therapy, health and care that is centred around each child or young person. Our aim is to create the right support at the right time, helping children to communicate, participate, learn, develop and achieve.

At our specialist centre, we provide nursery, primary and secondary school placements for children and young people aged 2 to 19. Our multidisciplinary team brings together specialist education, therapy, health and care, allowing support to be coordinated around each child and their family.

Our support can begin much earlier. Through our national Early Intervention programmes, we work with babies and young children from birth to five, including those with confirmed or emerging neurological conditions. These programmes give families early access to specialist support, practical guidance, therapy, learning opportunities and the chance to connect with others who understand their experiences.

Everything we do is shaped by close partnership with families and by a belief in every child’s potential.
