Our dedicated Charity & Specialist Investors team is focussed on helping and supporting charities with their investment needs. In addition to charities, we work with specialist institutions structured in a similar way to charities, such as livery companies, various Trust structures and universities. We have been looking after charities since its inception over 30 years ago. As of 30th September 2024, Waverton had £13.1bn under management, of which £1.4bn was managed on behalf of charity clients.

We pursue an active, direct and global investment approach. We attach huge importance to investing in what we believe to be the best ideas worldwide, be that in stocks, funds, fixed interest or alternative asset classes. All our decisions are based on rigorous in-house analysis and our research team conducts around 1,000 company meetings a year, both in the UK and overseas. Environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles are embedded throughout our investment process and we actively engage with company management, voting on our largest shareholdings to encourage positive change.
