Diversified

Why you should vote for Diversified for the People’s Choice Award

Diversified provides a safe haven for autistic young people to be authentically themselves in an environment specifically designed for them, and to be around others who are neurodivergent. All our services are designed and led by autistic young people as we are passionate about supporting them to take the lead and shape the services that are there to benefit them. We strive to empower young people to create positive change for themselves, their peers and their neurodivergent youth community, as well as learning and developing their skills to succeed in life!

Set up by Kaydi when she was just 14, Diversified is the first autistic youth led charity in Scotland to be designed and led by autistic young people under 18. We use lived experience to provide innovative services and specialist facilities to give neurodivergent young people social, wellbeing and alternative learning opportunities they otherwise would not be able to access. Our flagship service, Aspire, supports autistic young people who struggle to attend school, giving them a place to feel safe and understood, with access to a range of activities such as animal therapy, tutoring and wellbeing support.
