Our innovative approach to addressing the climate emergency through science communication, education and engagement show that we have Climate Action at our core. We have taken concrete steps to reduce our own carbon emissions whilst also building accessible resources like The NetZeroToolkit, encouraging other businesses and charities to do the same. Our events, such as the Climate Co-Lab, provide opportunities for people to share ideas and collaborate on carbon reduction efforts. We are dedicated to taking action on our climate emergency through every channel that we have available and so your vote really does mean the world to us!
Edinburgh Science is a charity that promotes science education and engagement; organising the annual Edinburgh Science Festival and year-round science-based outreach programs for primary/high school students and community groups. Edinburgh Science also provides The NetZeroToolkit a free online resource that support SMEs to develop carbon reduction strategies, already by used over 500 small businesses! Our Climate Co-Lab meetings bring senior business leaders, politicians and decision-makers together to come up with solutions and take action on our climate emergency. We have plans in place to reduce our own carbon emissions by 75% b 2030 and to reach net zero by 2040.
