Fersands and Fountain SCIO

Our Mission is to provide a range of vital services to a regeneration area of Aberdeen, empowering residents through informal learning, support, education, volunteering and other services to reduce poverty and increase equality.

We launched a Cost of Living Project responding to the current financial crisis, this project was developed from local people for local people. We have over 30 local volunteers running this vital service through a community cafe providing free and low cost meals, a woodside pantry to help reduce food poverty and waste, a charity shop, bus runs to large supermarkets, food and fuel vouchers, housing support and warm spaces.
