Lead Scotland
We work with disabled people and unpaid carers by delivering learning and befriending services. We also we run Scotland’s national helpline for disabled students and we try to influence government policy related to our work.
Our brilliant Cyber Project has been making it easier for over 3000 disabled people, carers and practitioners from 28 local authorities to learn how to stay safe and secure online through tutor supported courses, self-study courses, resources and strategic work! Three disabled tutors have helped to extend the reach of our work. We have also translated some National Cyber Security Centre and Take 5 Fraud guidance into 19 Easy Read documents, BSL and community languages. Without the help of JP Morgan's Force for Good our online learning platform would just be an idea waiting to become something more.
