Organised by SCVO, the Gathering is the largest free voluntary sector event in the UK. It's a place for all the amazing people working in the sector to network, showcase what they do and learn from each other and this year, we've changed it up a little bit...
Be a part of the Gathering 2023 in-person
Over two days on 7 and 8 November 2023, thousands of amazing people from the voluntary sector and beyond will join us at Edinburgh’s EICC to connect, learn and be inspired.
As well as bringing you a packed programme of workshops, seminars and activities – including online sessions for our most popular events - we’re delighted to share that this year we’re bringing our exhibition back, showcasing a wide range of exhibitors from the voluntary, public and private sectors!

NEW for 2023, join us for the Gathering Extra online on 29 November 2023.
The Gathering Extra will be your opportunity to catch up on the Gathering from the comfort of your own home or office. We will record and edit a selection of sessions from the in-person event, and share them with you on 29 November, delivered by an SCVO host and with opportunities for reflections and Q&A live on the day.

Over two days on 15 and 16 June 2022, people from the voluntary sector and beyond came together at Glasgow's SEC to enjoy a packed programme of over 80 workshops, seminars, and training sessions. It was a chance for people to network and connect, showcase work, to learn from each other and to inspire and be inspired.
