- Description
The Communities team within the Wellbeing and Prevention Unit in the Mental Health and Social Care Directorate of the Scottish Government will be sharing the successes and learning from the first two years of the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for adults.
The Fund is delivered locally by Third Sector Interfaces – in collaboration with local partners – who have distributed £36 million to date to a range of grassroots community projects providing mental health and wellbeing support.
The event will; highlight the unique partnership approach we have taken to developing and delivering the Fund; share project examples/experiences and; draw on the lessons from the evaluation of the Fund around innovative partnership working and the impact on communities .
The event will also cover wider collaborative work to promote mental wellbeing such as online resources, support to employers and supporting rural communities.
