Hana is completely devoted to the children and families Citywise supports. Quiet and humble, she is not one to put herself into the spotlight. We had to nominate her secretly and got to surprise her with her shortlisted nomination! Hana has devoted years of love and service to the vulnerable children that Citywise supports in the east end of Glasgow. Initially a volunteer, then a project leader, Hana is now our Programmes Director, responsible for our curriculum and the delivery of all project work. In her “spare” time she is studying for a PhD in education and psychology to further improve the quality of our work and the outcomes for young people. During the pandemic she has continually adapted our sessions - digital, outdoor, socially distanced - whatever it takes to ensure no child gets left behind. She is truly remarkable.
