Welcome to the CLD in Scotland Conference booking page!

The conference is being delivered in partnership with CLD Managers Scotland and CLD Standards Council Scotland. It will focus on the current independent review of CLD in Scotland, giving delegates an opportunity to consider the four key review areas: Awareness & Visibility; Accessibility & Availability; Support & Learning; and Pathways & Progression.

Overall aim
  • To consider and respond to the independent review of CLD in Scotland.
  • To bring key stakeholders in the CLD sector together to consider strategic issues affecting CLD in Scotland
  • To consider how these issues should be addressed by the review of CLD. 
Description

The conference will have inputs from key academic and political voices. Delegates will have the opportunity to listen to, question and reflect on speakers’ reflections on the CLD Review.

Who was the event aimed at?

CLD middle and senior managers, key partners and stakeholders. Priority given to CLD Managers Scotland members and CLD Standards Council members. Up to 3 places per local authority will be allocated, plus places for key CLD partners and stakeholders. 

Other Information

There is no charge for attending the conference. However, should delegates cancel less than a week in advance, or not attend on the day, the full conference fee of £85(+VAT) will be charged.
