Abstract

This report presents the findings of the written strand of a consultation carried out by the Scottish Government to inform the development of a Child Poverty Strategy for Scotland. The consultation involved three linked strands: a written consultation; focus group discussions with parents and other adults with responsibilities for the care of children; and additional stakeholder consultation. The written consultation took place from Friday 12th November 2010 until Friday 7th January 2011 and explored stakeholders? views of how policy and action can be improved to make further and faster progress in tackling child poverty in Scotland.
