Formality or Flexibility? Voluntary Sector Contracting in Social Care and Health
This research was commissioned by the NCVO in 2003 to provide them with evidence on the experiences of voluntary organisations in England engaged in contracts for the delivery of public services. the research found that there was continuing confusion and uncertainty about the negotiation and implementation of contracts within voluntary organisations, and clear differences of perspective and understanding between organisations engaged in delivery and public sector contractors.
