'Internships That Make A Difference' booklet
Third Sector Internships Scotland (TSIS) offered students from all Scottish universities the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to charities, social enterprises and voluntary organisations through completing paid, supported internships. This booklet highlights some of the key outcomes and achievements of the TSIS programme. Some key facts: * TSIS delivered a total of 349 internships. These opportunities were targeted at organisations that did not currently host student interns, opening up new collaborations between universities and third sector employers. * Demand has consistently outstripped the available internships. Over 8300 applications were made for the 349 internships. * Real jobs, with real responsibilities, that have made a real difference to students, employers and the communities they support
