In August 2010 the Scottish Government launched a consultation on the draft 'Social Housing Allocations: A Practice Guide'. The Guide is designed to be a practical tool offering advice and experience on a wide range of allocations issues and seeks to assist landlords in understanding both the legal framework for the allocation of social housing in Scotland and the flexibilities they have to respond to the housing needs of communities. This document is the analysis of responses to this consultation which ran from 6th August to 29th October 2010. A total of 69 analysable responses were received.
