The Scottish Third Sector Tracker — key charts for wave two (Winter 2021/22)

This excel workbook presents some key charts for wave two of the Scottish Third Sector Tracker.

The workbook segments the responses to some key questions below by geography (NHS Health Board); field of work (i.e. health, sport etc.) and by size of organisation (turnover).

The questions covered include:

Which of the following statements best represents the extent to which your organisation has been able to deliver its planned programmes and services, across the last three months (since August 2021)?

Across the last three months (since August 2021), to what extent has demand for your organisation’s core services or activities increased or decreased?

Compared with three months ago (August 2021), is the number of people currently actively volunteering for your organisation greater, smaller or about the same?

Over the last three months (since August 2021), has your organisation’s average monthly turnover increased, decreased or stayed the same?

Approximately, how many months of financial reserves does your organisation currently hold?

How important, if at all, is access to financial reserves for the short- to medium-term survival of your organisation?

And, to what extent, if at all, has your organisation’s available cash flow changed over the last three months (since August 2021)?

How confident, if at all, are you that your organisation will still be operating in 12 months’ time?
