Our mission is to create a Scotland where all women+ are supported to reach their potential and Kate is a fierce advocate for our mission. She has been a supportive, loving and dedicated friend as we have built our organisation, becoming a charity just last year. Her experience and dedication has been fundamental in the creation of a loving home for women+. Kate is not only a Trustee, she also volunteers in our weekly groups as well as our podcast, magazine and campaigning group - that's not to mention all the lifts she gives for our community! She's some wumman!
Kairos Women+ is a community-led women's organisation based in Paisley, Renfrewshire. We believe in the power of collaborative decision-making and bringing women and non-binary people together to make change in their community! Kate Clark has been part of our community since 2018, volunteering her time to build a vibrant, safe and energising home for women+. As a retired headteacher, she brings her leadership skills to Kairos and took the helm as Chair of Trustees when we moved to become an independent charity in 2021. Her kindness, love and support has helped us become the community that we are today.
