Kevin Radzynski - Grassmarket Community Project

The Grassmarket Community Project (GCP), based at the Grassmarket Centre, is a community of over 500 people, working together to support positive changes in one another’s lives. Working with some of the most vulnerable, marginalised and disadvantaged people in Edinburgh and the Lothians, we create a welcoming place for everyone to flourish, becoming healthier, happier, and more connected, utilising their skills and passion to make our community resilient, vibrant and inclusive - we are THE good place to be!

Everyone knows and loves Kevin at GCP, not just because he has made a huge difference as Volunteer Manager increasing volunteer numbers to more than 150, but because he is a reliable, friendly and supportive presence for everyone. He has brought a high level of professionalism alongside his gentle humour and empathetic style. Kevin goes above and beyond his role, supporting staff strategically and in the day-to-day running of the centre. He finds time for everyone; recruiting, managing, training, and counselling individuals. His energy creates a buzz around the Centre and he really is valued by us all.
