Menopause Cafe - Menopause Awareness Ribbon Campaign

Why you should vote for Menopause Cafe - Menopause Awareness Ribbon Campaign for the People’s Choice Award

Menopause Cafe charity raises awareness about menopause by:

  • supporting volunteers who host pop-up menopause discussion groups, worldwide, in person and online, open to all ages and genders
  • producing the Menopause Awareness Ribbon: a simple way to help make menopause part of everyday conversation.

Last year we realised that there was no Menopause Awareness Ribbon, so we designed, commissioned, marketed and distributed on a shoestring.

Many workplaces have Menopause Policies, but employees are often still embarrassed to tell their manager how menopause impacts them at work. By wearing the ribbon, you show colleagues that you are open to talking menopause, should they so wish. Wearing the ribbon works in the community too, helping to make menopause part of everyday conversation.

We worked in partnership with Perth & Kinross Council to market the ribbon via our online shop, created by a volunteer.
