Touch of Love Outreach
Why you should vote for Touch of Love Outreach for the People’s Choice Award
At Touch of Love, we are working to build an inclusive, thriving Aberdeen where minority ethnic communities and New Scots feel valued, supported, and fully integrated into society. We aim to break cycles of poverty and trauma by providing holistic, person-centred support, especially for young people and mothers from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through food support, cultural integration, mental health care, and youth empowerment, we help individuals not just survive, but truly thrive. Our work focuses on reducing isolation, promoting resilience, and creating safe spaces for young people and mothers to connect, grow, and thrive.
Touch of Love is a grassroots charity in Aberdeen working at the heart of deprived and marginalised communities. In 2024, we impacted over 10,757 individuals through three core programs: Youth Empowerment- engaging 457 young people (ages 5–21) in culturally relevant activities that foster confidence and leadership; Food Security- operating two local food banks , reaching over 10,000 individuals annually including Children; and Mental Well-being for Mothers- supporting over 500 New Scot women through mum & baby/toddler sessions and mental health groups. We measure our impact in the voices that now speak where silence once lived.
