Seescape and Fife's Football Clubs - Making Football Accessible

Why you should vote for Seescape and Fife's Football Clubs - Making Football Accessible for the People’s Choice Award

Since our formation as Fife Society for the Blind 160 years ago, we’ve been dedicated to serving those with visual impairment in Fife. Now as Seescape, we remain focused on providing our clients with the information, skills and confidence to thrive. Our mission is to empower people living with visual impairment to live safely and independently through people-focused services; delivered at home, in the community and via digital platforms.

“Losing my sight was a shock. I never thought I’d get back to the football…for the first time years I felt like a ‘normal’ man doing something normal on a Saturday afternoon.” (Davy McCowatt)

Seescape’s partnership with Fife’s three football clubs brings the magic of football to fans with sight loss, tackling isolation and boosting wellbeing. Each club donated season tickets to the charity to share with those they support, and provide audio commentaries. Seescape advised on accessibility and support needed to encourage fans to come and support their team. The partnership is changing lives by giving people confidence again.
