Anne Livingstone - Sunny Cycles

Why you should vote for Anne Livingstone - Sunny Cycles for the People’s Choice Award

Sunny Cycles enables people of all ages and abilities to enjoy cycling and cycling activities. We teach adults and children how to ride bikes and to be confident on them. Our led rides show people how to navigate the cycle paths in and around the city, and our bikes help people who don't have their own to take part. Our fleet of specialist adapted bikes enables people with different abilities to participate in cycling, enabling those with disabilities to feel the mental and physical benefits of cycling

Without Anne as Chair, Sunny Cycles wouldn’t be where it is today. Despite having no prior charity experience, she quickly learned how to run one effectively and has led the organisation for the past two years. Anne not only leads board meetings and ensures good governance but also volunteers regularly—supporting rides, promoting activities, handling admin, even getting the donuts for the Saturday volunteers. Her passion for cycling drives her to make it accessible for everyone, especially those who might not see it as an option. Anne is a hands-on leader and a true ambassador who lives and breathes Sunny Cycles.
