Dave McTernan - Epilepsy Scotland

Why you should vote for Dave McTernan - Epilepsy Scotland for the People’s Choice Award

Epilepsy Scotland works with people living with epilepsy to ensure their voice is heard. We provide support and wellbeing services across Scotland, promote wider awareness of epilepsy, and campaign for public policy changes that will help those impacted by the condition.

Dave McTernan has volunteered with Epilepsy Scotland for six years, supporting service delivery as an out-of-hours moderator and Participant Forum member shaping the service delivery model. Living with epilepsy, he understands its impact and regularly contributes to the Epilepsy First Aid training course, offering personal insights. He also volunteers at fundraising events, including the Ladies Lunch, where he is known as ‘Tombola Man’ for his ticket-selling skills. His dedication has made a significant difference to those living with epilepsy and the charity’s reach.
