The Aberdeenshire Community Transport Imitative (ACTI) provides funding for community transport providers in Aberdeenshire. Projects and services which may be funded must not be intended to make a profit, such as:- volunteer car schemes, either using the volunteer’s car or a vehicle managed by the organisation, e.g. hired from a car club. - Dial-a-bus services, e.g. minibus shopping bus or transport for individual needs. - Registered local bus services operated under a Section 22 permit.Grant applications are invited from community transport providers for the financial years:- 2027 to 2028- 2028 to 2029- 2029 to 2030

The grant scheme is designed to mobilise change and deliver positive outcomes for Shetland and its communities. The scheme seeks to support the community and economic development of Shetland by investing in infrastructure, community capacity building, and developing community assets and encouraging inclusive growth.The scheme also aims to encourage regeneration of Shetland’s communities by supporting projects that safeguard sustainable economic growth and jobs, promote inclusion and contribute towards poverty reduction.Projects seeking funding must be a strong fit to Shetland's Partnership Plan 2018 – 2028, and the shared vision that "Shetland is a place where everyone is able to thrive; living well in strong, resilient communities; and where people and communities are able to help plan and deliver solutions to future challenges."

The North Rhins Wind Farm became operational in 2010 and it will pay community benefit for the 25-year lifetime of the wind farm. Payments are made directly to Community Councils, or similar organisations, to use or distribute to groups that are active in their communities. Ten community councils are eligible for funding from the fund: Cairnryan, Kirkcolm, New Luce, Old Luce, Portpatrick, Stoneykirk, Lochans, Leswalt, Stranraer (which now includes Ochtrelure & Belmont) and Castle Kennedy.

Grants of up to £3,000 are available to constituted community groups for projects which benefit local communities in the Marr area.Funding is available for projects which can be delivered before the end of February 2026 and which support one or more of the following priorities:- Empowered and confident communities- Economically vibrant communities- Healthy, safe and thriving communities- Connected communities- Natural heritage and environmentProjects which offset the impact of a reduction in services or enhance provision will be welcomed.

The East Renfrewshire Renewable Energy Fund (ERREF) is money received from renewable energy projects in East Renfrewshire and is administered by East Renfrewshire Council Environment department. The fund combines contributions from ScottishPower Renewables Whitelee and Middleton windfarms.Projects need to meet one of more of these priorities:- Community facilities and services such as hall refurbishment or buying equipment and vehicles- Community or local events such as summer fairs or special event- Environmental projects such as planting trees or building baths- Heritage projects such as history trails or statue conservation- Skills and employment such as training equipment- Sport and recreation such as upgrading play areas or buying sports equipment- Youth and education such as clubs, Brownies or nursery and school projects

FCDT distribute funds to charities, voluntary organisations and community groups local to REG Power Management’s Tormywheel Wind Farm. The Fund is open to any community project which is for the benefit of residents of the Fauldhouse & The Breich Valley Communities, located within 5km of the Tormywheel Wind Farm Development. This Fund can provide both capital and revenue grants. The main criteria that will be used when assessing applications received is the social, economic and environmental benefits which will result from the project.
