Crowdfund Fife

Crowdfund Fife provides an opportunity for local, constituted community groups to crowdfund and receive a matching grant from Fife Council. Projects that can be funded include:- Small capital works to improve your community- Local events that bring people out of their homes e.g. Men’s Shed, Tea Dance etc.- Regeneration of your local area – anything is possible.- Pilot projects that trial alternative ways of working.- Buying new equipment, materials, or expertise you do not already have that will expand your activities and encourage more people to get involved in your group- A technical study if you are developing a new facility or service- Intergenerational Projects – encouraging different generations to work together

The Royal Countryside Fund provides grants for projects from across the UK which are working to create resilient rural communities. This fund will support community-led projects that are pursuing innovative and strategic solutions to the challenges facing their rural area and improving the long-term viability and resilience of their community. Successful applicants will deliver projects along the themes of:• Keeping young people in the countryside• Powering up rural communities• Increasing environmental sustainability• Building emergency resilience in rural areasSuccessful projects will demonstrate how they are addressing one of more of the following objectives:• Working towards a long-term vision• Facilitating connectedness and collaboration • Demonstrating innovationThe fund has paused the current grant programme and won’t be accepting applications in the coming months. They are planning to launch a new, reshaped grant programme in the autumn.

The Weir Charitable Trust aims to support Scottish-based community groups and small charities to provide services across Scotland to help the Scottish community. These groups and charities are likely to have found it difficult to access funds elsewhere. It fund supports services/projects in the following qualifying categories:- Sport: encouraging and increasing public participation in sport (activities which involve physical skill and exertion)- Recreational facilities: the provision or organisation of recreational facilities (buildings, pitches or similar) with the aim of improving the conditions of life for the people for whom the facilities are primarily intended. This is only in relation to facilities which are primarily intended for people who need them due to age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. - Animal welfare: for the advancement of animal welfare- Health: the advancement of health, including prevention or relief of sickness, disease or human suffering- Culture: supporting the heritage - tangible or otherwise - of Scotland, through projects that encourage participation in and preservation of Scotland's distinctive culture.

Tesco Community Grants fund thousands of local community projects across the UK, helping to fight holiday hunger, tackle mental health, support young people, host community events and much more. Community groups, schools, charities, local authorities and not for profits can all apply for grants for projects that bring benefit for the community.Applications are open to all local good causes that support children, young people and families. Examples include:- School Breakfast clubs- Holiday clubs- Play areas- Food banks- Counselling and support services for children- Equipment or non-statutory services for nurseries or schools e.g. forest schools, library books- Equipment for Brownie, Guide or Scout Groups e.g. camping equipment, badges- Services or equipment to support children and young people’s health- Equipment/kit for youth sports teamsEvery three months, three local good causes are selected to be in the blue token customer vote in Tesco stores throughout the UK.

Funding to support local communities experiencing poverty and trauma in Scotland.Can provide revenue funding of between £5,000 and £20,000 per year, for up to 3 years, to support the costs of community centres, hubs or anchor organisations who are delivering and/or hosting a range of services and activities to meet the needs of their community.Applicants should show how the various services they deliver and/or host relate to preventing or reducing poverty and trauma for local people.
