The Cycling Tourism Facilities Fund is an opportunity for tourism businesses, communities, and social enterprises in the Highlands and Islands Enterprise region to develop and enhance the cycling tourism facilities in your area.The funding can be used towards capital projects investing in fixtures, fittings, construction, adaptation or upgrades to improve cycling tourism facilities. Examples of eligible projects include: - new secure covered cycle storage - new open cycle parking, sheltered cycle parking - enhancement to existing cycle parking/storage to increase capacity and/or security - lockers and storage- drying facilities- bike maintenance equipment e.g. repair stations.

The Youth Scotland Rural Action Fund is a Micro Grant fund being supported by The Gannochy Trust. This fund has been created in response to the challenges which rural youth groups are facing in funding the delivery of community based universal youth work. It will make small awards to enable youth groups operating in rural communities to provide more and/or better youth work opportunities for young people.

Asda Foundation recognises the importance of having safe and accessible outdoor spaces in communities across the UK, so this year they will be providing up to £500,000 of grant funding to help grassroots groups improve or transform their local outdoor community spaces.The following list provides some examples of the kinds of items and services that tis funding could be used for. Please note that this list is not exhaustive, but any items and activities that we fund must still fit within the general criteria as detailed on ‘Who Can Apply’.- Materials to build and transform outdoor areas, such as planters, raised beds, benches, paint- Equipment to be able to deliver a community clear up, such as litter pickers, bin bags, hi-vis vests (items relating to community clear ups are capped at £500 in total)- Machinery hire/purchase, e.g. rotavator hire- Permanent fixtures and features, such as sheds, outdoor furniture, pathways, gates and fencing- Gardening tools and equipment, such as spades, wheelbarrows, polytunnels, water butts, compost bins- Plants, shrubs, trees, bulbs etc.

The Angus Council Charitable Trust provides support to vulnerable people in Angus and assists local groups or organisations with ongoing projects. The trust is split into seven geographical areas, based on the council’s current ward boundaries. The trust covers all wards in Angus, with the purpose of funds as follows:- Prevention/relief of poverty- Provision of recreational facilities/activities- Relief of those in need- Advancement of education- Advancement of citizenship/community- Advancement of arts, heritage, culture, science, war memorials.

The Scottish Building Society Foundation will aim to invest in the long-term future of communities in Scotland. They are looking to provide financial support to charities and community groups. Applications that address any of the following issues are particularly welcomed: - Community facilities, services, transport, open spaces, affordable housing, reduction of poverty, and care of the elderly- Youth and education, providing training opportunities and support for vulnerable young people- Promoting care and support of vulnerable people; improving community safety, minimising isolation, and maximising wellbeingGrant requests to support a wide range of costs and activities will be considered, such as equipment, running costs for local groups, staff or sessional worker costs, consultations, maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities, and capital costs to purchase or develop community assets.

The Foundation supports charities registered in the United Kingdom, the dominant purpose of which is to benefit either the Arts or Learning. Organisations and projects that provide direct benefits and services to the general public (rather than special interest groups) will be favoured.They can fund:- Project revenue costs.- Essential equipment and digital services.- Core costs, which is aimed at those with no, or without significant, public funding.- Capital projects.For projects working in the Arts, the Foundation seeks applications that make a strong artistic case for support in either the performing or visual arts. The Arts programme aims to help sustain the arts and to support projects that help to deliver your artistic vision. For Learning charities, the Foundation will support projects which facilitate the acquisition of knowledge and learning and which have a long-term strategic impact.The Foyle Foundation will complete its grant giving programme in 2025 and all projects must be completed by the end of 2025.
