Moray Local Action Fund

The Moray Local Action Group offers funding for projects across Moray, that enable community led local development. The overall aim of the fund puts the power back to communities, as they decide which activities will help our region achieve a just transition to a wellbeing economy. All projects must demonstrate that they advance inclusion, equality and diversity while addressing at least one of their priorities:- A Fair & Just Moray - Moray in Harmony with Nature- A Resilient & Thriving Moray- A Connected & Accessible Moray- An Economy Promoting Wellbeing for People & Planet

The Renewable Energy Fund is a fund set up and administered by East Ayrshire Council to distribute developer contributions from Wind Farm developments within East Ayrshire.There are currently four operational wind farms making a contribution to the Renewable Energy Fund:- Afton wind farm- Galawhistle wind farm- Hare Hill wind farm extensions- Whitelee wind farmThe grants are intended to offer support to provide or maintain cultural, social, welfare, recreational or sporting facilities or to promote these activities. The grants are also provided to assist community-based projects that are in the interests of the community or the environment.

The purpose of Community Solutions is to improve and maintain health and wellbeing, strengthen social connection and support and reduce isolation and loneliness amongst adults, carers and children, young people and families in North Lanarkshire.Funding is available through Community Solutions, an innovative, community-led health and social care investment programme operating across North Lanarkshire. It operates as the local CVS’s arm of Health and Social Care North Lanarkshire, the statutory Scottish Government-appointed health and social care partnership for the local authority area.Proposals to the fund are eligible if they support one or more of the following outcomes:- Adults and carers feel more connected, safe, included and fulfilled- Improved health and wellbeing amongst adults and carers- Local citizens feel more informed and aware- Carers are more able to have a life outside of caring responsibilities- Family relationships are stregthened- Children, young people and families become more resilient and are able to achieve goals

The Enchanted Forest Community Trust, which is the organiser of the annual Enchanted Forest and light show in Pitlochry, supports a wide range of community projects in Highland Perthshire.This year the are actively seeking applicants who can use the funds to:1 .Help the people in need with the cost of living crisis in the Highland Perthshire area.2. Help with battling child poverty and focus on child welfare.3. Increase inclusion, enablement, independence, mental health and wellbeing.4. Increase access to employment, volunteering, learning, culture, sport, and leisure opportunities.5. Improve infrastructure that benefits the community.6. Promote sustainability through best practices.

You can list your need on the Gateway if your work is focused on improving the economic, social, and environmental wellbeing of your local area.It supports community initiatives such as:- Work placement opportunities- Volunteering projects- The provision of professional advice- Assistance with building community facilities- Environmental proposals- Improving and promoting biodiversity- Lifelong learning projects (this list is not exhaustive)The Gateway is not a funding platform, although there may be offers of funding listed.

Scottish Hydro operates a 19 turbine wind farm at Achany in the Highland region. The Scottish Hydro Achany Community Investment Fund contributes to the communities located around the wind farm. The Achany community fund can support projects which:- Strengthen and diversify the local economy through support for social enterprises, especially those that explore, test and develop activity that sensitively exploits the area’s tourist potential or niche business areas- Stimulate new ideas and innovative approaches to generate growth and development and new employment- Support the acquisition, development and use of new community assets and maintain and enhance existing ones- Ensure adequate provision and/or services are available for the community that improve their life chances and/or quality of life- Support efforts that co-ordinate community activity and optimise local resources and assets- Respond to unforeseen circumstances or opportunities that are in keeping with the broad Fund aims identified above

The Community Led Local Development programme will support community facilities in Dumfries and Galloway and mitigate the impact of the cost-of-living crisis. The four priorities in the next round within Dumfries and Galloway will be:1. Supporting community facilities and eligible organisations to contribute to the achievement of net zero2. Sustaining, improving, and adding initiatives in rural communities that are most isolated, most disconnected, most in need of investment or most likely to experience inequalities3. Helping communities to address the cost-of-living crisis and eradicate poverty for individuals and families4. Enabling communities to carry out research, community needs assessments and feasibility studies as part of local place plan developmentThe funded activity must start no earlier than 14 October and projects must have spent their grant and completed their activity by 31 March 2025.

This Fund is provided by Nadara, the owner of the Gordonstown Wind Farm. It will benefit charities and community groups within each of the Auchterless, Inverkeithny & Fisherford Community Council and the Fyvie and Rothienorman Community Council areas. The Fund purpose is to support activity which will sustain and develop the life of the community and ensure that the area is an attractive and vibrant place to live, work and visit.

The purpose of the Trust is to hold and distribute funds for charitable purposes as set out in the Trusts governing.
