The fund provides grants to support charitable activities in Avonbridge and Standburn that:- Enhance quality of life for local residents.- Contribute to vibrant, healthy, successful and sustainable communities.- Promote community spirit and encourage community activity.Grants may support a wide range of costs, for example the costs of equipment, staff or sessional workers, consultations, running costs for local groups, maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities, and so on.

The Fund supports community activity and development by supporting the charitable activities of constituted, not-for-profit groups working to benefit the community. It is open to groups operating in the Halkirk District Community Council area with priority given to projects within a four kilometre radius of the Achlachan Wind Farm. Applications must meet at least one of the following outcomes:- Developing services and facilities- Sustaining and creating employment- Increasing skills and knowledge- Preserving and enhancing or giving better access to culture, heritage and the environment- Getting around and getting connected

The Greggs Foundation Community Grant is to support not-for-profit community organisations based in one of Greggs' geographical focus areas, usually based in areas close to Greggs Outlets and in areas of social deprivation.  For this funding round, they are accepting applications from community organisations based in the following locations:- Craigmillar and/or Granton, Edinburgh, Scotland- (areas in England)Organisations successful in receiving funding are focused in the following areas: - Addressing direct needs in the local community- Providing food and support for individuals- Reducing social isolation and widening networks- Building knowledge, confidence and opportunities

The Shetland Local Action Group (LAG) will focus on project delivery, supporting activities that will contribute positively to local people and local priorities and helping rural communities to thrive through community-led initiatives. They understand that 60% of emission reductions to meet net zero targets needs to come from social change. Shetland communities therefore have a key role to play as part of that wider public engagement strategy and in the creation of sustainable communities. The main focus for activity will aim to support sustainable projects which can be reflected within the following four priority areas:- Helping families and services through the cost of living crises, including helping to address the drivers of child poverty- Increasing community capacity to address rural challenge- Transforming the economy to deliver net zero and- Creating sustainable public services

Pudsey Next Steps focuses on new applicants working in under-served geographic areas across the UK.This round aims to reach under-served and marginalised children and young people. They may be affected by challenges including poverty, discrimination, and exclusion. For example, this could include care experienced or disabled children and young people. It may include children and young people from minoritised ethnic communities.

Soirbheas provide grants mostly funded by the Corrimony windfarm. The Tier 2 & 3 funding the objectives are: - improving the energy efficiency of the housing within our communities- strengthening the local economy by encouraging new businesses and encouraging employment and training opportunities; protecting our environment for future generations- improving the quality of life of the elderly and vulnerable, including young people, within our communities. The beneficiaries of projects must be resident in the Glen Urquhart or Strathglass Community Council areas.
