The priorities for the Dumfries and Galloway CLLD grant funding for 2025-2026 are:- Supporting community facilities and eligible organisations to contribute to the achievement of net zero.- Sustaining, improving and adding initiatives in rural communities that are most isolated, most disconnected, most in need of investment or most likely to experience inequalities.- Helping communities to address the cost-of-living crisis and eradicate poverty for individuals and families.- Enabling communities to carry out research, community needs assessments and feasibility studies as part of local place plan development.Organisations can make one application per project and there is no limit to the number of applications they can make. Applications can be made for 100% of the eligible project costs.Projects must take place between 01 August 2025 and 31 March 2026.

Carrick Futures is a community company, funded by ScottishPower Renewables community benefit funds from the Arecleoch and Mark Hill Windfarms in South Ayrshire. The fund primarily supports projects located within or directly benefiting one or more of the six community council areas of Ballantrae, Colmonell & Lendalfoot, Barr, Barrhill, Pinmore & Pinwherry and Girvan & District. The Board has agreed six strategic priorities, which it will use to prioritise proposed projects. These are:- Improve access to public services, education and recreation- Tackle inequality, including poverty and disadvantage- Support good health and wellbeing- Provide support and/or opportunities for children and young people- Support the sustainable development of community led assets- Foster climate smart approaches that protect and promote our environmentThese priorities are underpinned by a community wealth building approach which provides a proportionate response to local priorities in relation to jobs, business and the local economy.Awards can support a wide range of costs and activities including equipment, running costs for local groups, staff or sessional worker costs, consultations, maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities and capital costs to purchase or develop community assets.

The Foundation supports a broad range of organisations and activities that share a commitment to making a positive impact to the lives of the communities in which they work, and that are driven by a desire to achieve excellence. They make grants across the UK to organisations in the following categories: - Arts- Community- Education- Environment- Faith- Health- Museums and Heritage- Welfare- Youth

Grants are being invited from community groups, charities and cooperatives throughout Aberdeenshire (excluding the Cairngorms area) and can fund specific activities aimed at benefitting rural communities in the region.   Applications will be assessed and approved by the Aberdeenshire Local Action Group (LAG), a cross-sector partnership which represents rural communities throughout Aberdeenshire.Grants will be targeted towards capital expenditure which can be delivered before 28th February 2026 and supports one or more of the following priorities:- An inclusive and connected Aberdeenshire – Enabling better connections within and across rural Aberdeenshire Communities - Accountable and Fair Aberdeenshire – Ensuring no one community is left behind or exposed to the devastating effects of inequality and poverty. - Sustainability of Places and Planet - Achieving a just transition to net zero through reducing emissions and regenerating the local environment 

The Climate Hub offers small grants to community groups for community engagement or seed funding for a community climate action project. The Fund is available to existing and emerging community groups who are members of the Highlands and Islands Climate Hub. They will prioritise projects which: - Aim to create long-term change.- Build the skills and capacity of groups or organisations and communities. - Support and encourage collaborative working across groups or organisations, communities and areas.- Encourage sustainability through reusing, recycling and upcycling goods and products. - Encourage climate action and a just transition- Mitigate climate change, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reduce environmental impact- Help communities adapt to and build resilience to climate change- Protect or enhance local biodiversity through conservation and promotion

Shell provide community grants to groups which operate near their sites in Fife (near Mossmorran), Aberdeenshire (near St Fergus), Bacton, and Aberdeen city. These are provided both for ongoing community projects and for sponsorship of community events.Community groups can apply for a minimum of £500 and a maximum of £1,000 to fund projects that align with one or more of the key criteria:- Improving employment opportunities, training and skills delivery or increasing participation in education- Engaging people in positive activities that may not usually be available to them- Community events or projects that increase community participation or access- Enhancing community spaces- Promoting health and well-being or safety

The trust favours organisations involved with the performing arts, particularly if children and young people are involved and also if the disabled are involved. They also favour organisations set up to further the visual arts and museums. They support small medical charities and environmental charities including support of the built environment. Funding is given under the main headings of health, education, youth work, religion and relief of poverty.
