The Enchanted Forest Community Trust, which is the organiser of the annual Enchanted Forest and light show in Pitlochry, supports a wide range of community projects in Highland Perthshire.This year the are actively seeking applicants who can use the funds to:1. Help the people in need with the cost of living crisis in the Highland Perthshire area.2. Help with battling child poverty and focus on child welfare.3. Increase inclusion, enablement, independence, mental health and wellbeing.4. Increase access to employment, volunteering, learning, culture, sport, and leisure opportunities.5. Improve infrastructure that benefits the community.6. Promote sustainability through best practices.

Scottish Hydro operates a 19 turbine wind farm at Achany in the Highland region. The Scottish Hydro Achany Community Investment Fund contributes to the communities located around the wind farm. The Achany community fund can support projects which:- Strengthen and diversify the local economy through support for social enterprises, especially those that explore, test and develop activity that sensitively exploits the area’s tourist potential or niche business areas- Stimulate new ideas and innovative approaches to generate growth and development and new employment- Support the acquisition, development and use of new community assets and maintain and enhance existing ones- Ensure adequate provision and/or services are available for the community that improve their life chances and/or quality of life- Support efforts that co-ordinate community activity and optimise local resources and assets- Respond to unforeseen circumstances or opportunities that are in keeping with the broad Fund aims identified above

The Renewable Energy Fund is a fund set up and administered by East Ayrshire Council to distribute developer contributions from Wind Farm developments within East Ayrshire.There are currently four operational wind farms making a contribution to the Renewable Energy Fund:- Afton wind farm- Galawhistle wind farm- Hare Hill wind farm extensions- Whitelee wind farmThe grants are intended to offer support to provide or maintain cultural, social, welfare, recreational or sporting facilities or to promote these activities. The grants are also provided to assist community-based projects that are in the interests of the community or the environment.

The Inverclyde Windfarm Fund is a 10-year grant scheme partnership between Inverclyde Renewables LLP and Inverclyde Community Fund. It provides grants for community groups and voluntary organisations to progress projects within their local communities. The Fund must be used to provide funding or grants to projects which support and promote at least one of the following causes:- Environmental- Renewable Energy- Energy Efficiency- Sustainable Development- Charitable- Educational- Community- Sport and Recreation- General community amenity schemes

Gannochy Trust

The Gannochy Trust provides funding to registered charities, primarily working in Perth and Kinross, but also to inspire and develop young people throughout Scotland.The Trust has different eligibility criteria for charities based or working in Perth and Kinross, than those across Scotland. For Perth and Kinross the aims are:- To improve the quality of life- To improve the availability or quality of the built and natural environment for wide community use- To develop and inspire children and young people (From age 0 to 21 inclusive)For the rest of Scotland they are:- To develop and inspire children and young people (From age 11 to 21 inclusive)
