Applications are invited from groups, organisations and social enterprises for local projects with social or environmental benefits. Priority will be given to applications that benefit people living within a five mile radius of Edintore Wind Farm in Moray.

The fund offers funding to projects through the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund (SLCF). It awarding grants for community, environmental and heritage projects across the Kingdom to benefit the lives of those living close to landfill sites and will consider applications across all types of projects included in the SLCF Objects including: land reclamation, community recycling, public amenities and parks, biodiversity and historic buildings.

The Pinwherry and Pinmore Community Fund is funded by SSE community benefit funding from the Hadyard Hill wind farm in South Ayrshire and Falck Renewables from its Assel Valley wind farm also in South Ayrshire. The fund supports projects located within or directly benefiting the community area of Pinwherry and Pinmore.Awards can support a wide range of costs and activities including equipment costs, running costs for local groups, staff or sessional worker costs, consultations, maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities etc.

For Bute runs a charity thrift shop to raise funds to support local groups and individuals in Bute. It supports a wide variety of causes.

The Gannochy Trust provides funding to registered charities, primarily working in Perth and Kinross, but also to inspire and develop young people throughout Scotland.The Trust has different eligibility criteria for charities based or working in Perth and Kinross, than those across Scotland. For Perth and Kinross the aims are:- To improve the quality of life- To improve the availability or quality of the built and natural environment for wide community use- To develop and inspire children and young people (From age 0 to 21 inclusive)For the rest of Scotland they are:- To develop and inspire children and young people (From age 11 to 21 inclusive)

The Co-op Local Community Fund gives money to local causes, helping to bring people together and make a difference. Edinburgh Community Solar Co-operative raises capital from the public to place solar panel installations on City of Edinburgh Council buildings (schools, leisure centres and other council owned buildings). Partick and Thornwood Ideas Fund is a Participatory Budgeting initiative funded by the Scottish Government Investing in Communities fund.The fund gives individuals and groups an opportunity to apply for grants to realise their ideas which will deliver a positive change for local people in the community. Everyone living or working in the Partick and Thornwood area will have the opportunity to vote and decide which projects are funded. Funds must be used to benefit the community of Partick and/or Thornwood. Funds can be used for a wide range of things from training, buying equipment, starting you own group, group running costs, activities, running events or trips.

Provides funding to community and charitable projects in Carronbridge, Closeburn, Durisdeer, Johnstone, Kirkonnel & Kelloholm, Kirkmichael, Kirkpatrick Juxta, Moffat & District, Royal Burgh of Sanquhar & District, Thornhill, Wamphray and Wanlockhead Community Council areas. The amounts available for distribution vary, depending on each area's previous funding commitments with some areas already full committed. Check the Foundation Scotland website for which areas are open.Grants are available to legally-constituted community groups, non-profit organisations and registered charities supporting projects which: - enhance quality of life for local residents- contribute to vibrant, healthy, successful and sustainable communities- promote community spirit and encourage community activity.
