The National Lottery Open Fund for Organisations aims to support organisations who seek funding to undertake creative activity such as a specific project or production, a programme of creative work, or a period of research and development. The fund can also support business change and development projects, such as those that make the organisation more financially sustainable or focus on broader organisational development.The fund is intended to support creative activity such as a specific project or production, a programme of creative work, or a period of research and development. Examples of the types of activity that can be supported are:- Development, curation, production, presentation of new work- Networking and collaborative opportunities- Research and development - Organisational development activity, where the activity is likely to contribute to greater organisational sustainability, public engagement, environmental sustainability or the development of knowledge/skills within the organisation- Professional development (training, mentoring, skills development)- Activity that supports artists and addresses inequalities- Audience development- Widening participation and engagement in creative activity.For full details, see the Fund guidelines available on the Creative Scotland website.

Historic Environment Scotland’s Heritage & Place Programme is an area-based funding programme that aims to contribute to the development of vibrant and sustainable places in Scotland, through community-led regeneration of the historic environment. It supports the development and delivery of heritage focused schemes within conservation areas, or alternatively distinctive heritage areas with local authority recognition.Community participation is be integral to the design and delivery of the successful schemes your objectives should fit within the local authority's strategic framework for Place and Regeneration.To qualify for the H&PP, you will also need to demonstrate that your scheme meets the following criteria:- It will take place within a defined area of the historic environment with heritage significance which has local authority recognition- Its objectives fit within the local authority’s strategic framework for Place and Regeneration, with participation and support from the local community- There is demonstrable evidence provided to show the need for repair and regeneration in the defined area of the historic environment that will focus on its repair and resilience, traditional skills training and materials, community heritage engagement and future management and maintenance- There has been demand identified from within the local community for projects and activities to be undertaken as part of the scheme- A financial need for HES funding has been demonstrated and there is also the ability to attract local authority funding and other match funding- It will deliver against the HES Grants Priorities

Glasgow Climate Action Hub wants to achieve with the Demonstrator Grants programme. They want:- more people to understand the causes of climate change and its effects on communities now and in the future.- people to feel empowered to be able to act on climate change by understanding the actions they can take in their own life and within their own communities.- people to feel empowered to have their voices heard by local and national decision makers.​- to understand the barriers to climate action; what prevents communities from engaging in climate action and, just as importantly, what puts them off?All projects should consider these outcomes, but they don’t expect any one project to cover it all.This fund is particularly interesting in hearing from groups working with:- Communities in the North East of Glasgow- LGBTQ+ communities- People with disabilities- Black and minority ethnic communitiesProjects and activities must be delivered in time to submit a final report by the 31st of March 2025. Projects should be as sustainable as possible in their delivery e.g. no use of single use items.

The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund (CMHWF) for Adults was established in October 2021 and to date, it has distributed around £51 million to community initiatives supporting mental health and wellbeing across Scotland. Local TSIs have their own version of this fund.The priorities are:- 1. Tackle mental health inequalities through supporting a range of ‘at risk’ groups.- 2. Address priority issues of social isolation and loneliness, suicide prevention, poverty and inequality with a particular emphasis on responding to the cost-of-living crisis and support to those facing socio-economic disadvantage.  - 3. Support small ‘grass roots’ community groups and organisations to deliver such activities.  - 4. Provide opportunities for people to connect with each other, build trusted relationships and revitalise communities. New for this year is a particular focus on supporting the following six priority family groups identified under Best Start Bright Futures: Tackling Child Poverty Delivery Plan 2022 to 2026: Lone Parents; Disabled; 3+ Children; Minority Ethnic; Youngest Child Aged <1; Mothers Aged <25.
