The Enabling Neighbourhoods and Communities Fund will distribute £500,000 to community and voluntary groups across Scotland who are connecting and supporting people within their community. The Fund aims to reach groups who have strong local relationships and who work to increase social connections and improve wellbeing.
Small grants, usually of £1000 – £2000 (up to £5000 *) will be available to groups that are rooted in their community, require a small amount of money, and have received little/or no emergency funding during the pandemic. Funds will be unrestricted to help groups cover running costs or deliver support or activities in their local area over the next 12 months.
The Enabling Neighbourhoods and Communities Fund is a Scottish Government fund administered by Corra Foundation. For more information visit https://www.corra.scot/grants/enabling-neighbourhoods/.
*Applications of up to £5000 may be considered for some groups, where proportionate, if the application demonstrates a strong fit with the criteria and exceptional community need.
