- Overall aim
Sometimes trustees taking no risk in relation to trading or considering other funding routes beyond grant funding is not the best decision for the charity.We want to bring the sector together for this 'must attend'online event for charity board members, which will centre around social investment and OSCR’s advice on acting in the best interest of the charity, alongside Johnston and Carmichael’s view on assessing and mitigating risk.
There has never been a greater need for board members to think differently and to revisit their strategic approach, so this online event is an invitation to joinus as we begin a conversation within the sector on this important topic.
Chaired by Kieran Daly,Head of Market Building, Social Investment Scotland, this 90-minute online event will include a discussion with our panel of guest speakers:
· Jason Glass, Director of Operations, Camphill Blair Drummond;
· Laura Anderson, Head of Professional Advice and Intelligence, OSCR;
· Scott J Jeffrey, Partner, Johnston Carmichaeland ICAS Associate.
