Fast Forward is a force for change.
We support children and young people across Scotland to make informed choices regarding, and take a harm reduction approach to, risk-taking behaviours, towards positive destinations and to reduce the negative impacts of these on their lives and those of their families and wider community.
We work directly with children and young people through experiential learning approaches, and provide training and resources to the adults in their lives, parents / carer-givers, youth workers, teachers and other practitioners, to ensure that they are confident and comfortable in discussing risk-taking behaviours.
Our work uses the lens of risk-taking behaviours to support children and young people to better understand these behaviours and their decision making processes regarding their engagement in them.
Established in 1987, our expertise in delivering education and prevention work on a range of risk-taking behaviours is valued and recognised nationally.

- Arts and Theatre Projects – developing creative resources exploring risk-taking behaviours
- Ask Dad – supporting dad and male carers around risk-taking behaviours
- E-Cigarettes and Vaping
- Going Forward – working with marginalised children and young people around risk-taking behaviours
- Peer Inspiration Projects Scotland PIPS – supporting peer education / inspiration projects nationally
