SCVO's journey to net zero
SCVO has published its environmental policy, set up an internal climate crisis working group and is working on a full strategy to become a net zero organisation. We’ve pledged to reach net zero by 2045.
SCVO faces a number of significant challenges in achieving this, including working within historic energy-inefficient buildings. That’s why we’re working with partners like Zero Waste Scotland to help us come up with solutions.
We will publish more details of what we're doing to become a net-zero organisation in 2022. In the meantime, we have signed up to the United Nations Climate Neutral Now pledge.
