Join us for this lunchtime webinar as SCVO Pro Bono Service partners Turcan Connell discuss the difference between primary purpose and non-primary purpose trading by a charity, when it may be appropriate to filter trading activity through a trading subsidiary, as well as offering governance and practical advice.

The aim of this webinar is to give an overview of what is involved in charity trading, including the potential financial and reputational risks. It will outline the questions you need to consider if you are thinking of developing what can be an important source of funding, which can provide an unrestricted and sustainable source of income and help you achieve your charitable objectives.

We really want to hear your views and so this event will be a Zoom meeting, which allows all participants to see who else is in attendance and lets us interact with everyone in attendance. We will be taking some time at the end of the session to answer your questions and you can either ask them directly on the day or please feel free to submit a question or comment in the online booking form prior to the event. The session will also be recorded and shared on our Youtube Channel after the event.
