- Description
Social and Community Capital provides flexible funding and support to organisations across Scotland, with a particular focus on:
- Employment, education and training
- Services supporting people experiencing inequality
- Community regeneration
Their funding is open to all eligible organisations - you do not need to be a Royal Bank of Scotland customer to apply. Tracy will introduce Social and Community Capital’s range of loan options designed to meet different organisational needs, including:
- Property Purchase Loan - for buying or renovating a property
- Flexible Growth Funding - for organisations looking to grow and increase their impact
- Working Capital Loan - to smooth cashflow and cover essential running costs
- Bridging Loan - to help manage VAT payments or overheads before grant funding is received
During the session, you’ll learn about Social and Community Capital’s criteria, what makes a strong application, the support available throughout the process, and examples of Scottish organisations they’ve helped. In addition, Kirsty Young, SCVO’s Funding Scotland Development Officer, will deliver a short input on Funding Scotland and the wider support SCVO provides around funding. The webinar will conclude with an opportunity to ask questions and network with other organisations.
