Meet the Funder with Community Enterprise: Accelerate Programme

Join us for a session with Community Enterprise to learn more about the Accelerate Programme, a Scottish Government-funded programme offering up to six days of free, tailored support to help community groups and third sector organisations become more sustainable and enterprising.

Designed for organisations that are not currently trading, Accelerate helps groups explore new opportunities, strengthen their resilience and develop approaches to generate income and achieve long-term sustainability. Support can include business planning, financial planning, governance, marketing, exploring funding options and testing new trading ideas.

This session will give you the chance to hear directly from the team delivering the programme about the support available, eligibility criteria, and how organisations can access tailored one-to-one support. There will also be time for questions.

In addition, SCVO’s Funding Scotland Development Officer, will deliver a short input on Funding Scotland and the wider support SCVO provides around finding and securing funding. 

Community groups and third sector organisations that are:

• Based in Scotland and delivering benefits in Scotland
• Constituted or pre-constituted
• Asset-locked (non-profit distributing)
• Not currently taking a social enterprise or commercial trading approach
• Interested in becoming more sustainable and exploring new sources of income and enterprise activity
