Join Jason Railton and Maddie Stark for an open conversation where we will look at discussing the wellbeing of people working within the voluntary sector in Scotland.

We want to bring people working in charities, social enterprises and voluntary organisations together to discuss how the current difficult operating environment for our sector is impacting the wellbeing of our staff.

Why?

We think it’s important that we gather as much information and evidence from across the sector to help inform and understand how organisations are responding. Our event will be an informal and safe space. 

Description

Since the pandemic, there has been an increased focus on understanding how wellbeing has been impacted in the workplace by disruption and changes to services. This is felt acutely in the voluntary sector, where budgets are particularly stretched, and capacity can be difficult to manage. 

SCVO are interested in understanding what the impact of the current operating environment has been on those working within the sector. To that end, we want to have an open conversation with people across the sector to explore what wellbeing means to us and where it sits as a priority for the sector. 

We’re not promising anything but an opportunity to come together virtually and openly talk about the issues that affect all of us working in the sector.
